,- The " Goose Game  " is a well kown children table game in Europe.
Geese were house guardians, warning the owners of any intruder coming close the property.
It was also considered as a sacred guide for the humanity.
Meanwhile the wild geese have their migrstion route that matches with the weel known
" The Way of the Starts".
In the Medieval times, the pilgrims did not have maps, much less mobile App or GPS tracking,,
so they follow  natural indications, churches, crosses, bridges to make their way; a sort off "The goose route " during the day and guiding by the starts at night.
The ancient  route from East to West between Cape Creus  and Cape Touriñan  was divided in 63 stages like in the game.

The game could be linked to the Templars and also to the Master Builders. The former were important  in  Spain between early XII and begining of XIV Century , the others carry the construction of most religious and civil, Romanesque and Gothic buildings,

It is not that neither of them used to play but as a secret or encryped routes that they only knew by heart.
Each space of the game would represent a stage of the trail, where the Masters would leave their signals in the stones as symbols or sculptures, easy to understand for those initiated and enigmatic for most illiterated.
But each of us can build a board with our " camino": Experiences of our way with good or bad moments, achievements or failures, progress or setbacks, bridges or posadas, castle or labyrinth.
In mine instead of 13 geese have to be 13 Cathedrals, plus the alpha and the Omega (the beginning and the end).
